Bayerisches Jazzinstitut / Bavarian Jazz Institute

Erst jetzt erfuhren wir von einem laufenden Streit zwischen der Leitung des Bayerischen Jazzinstituts, eines Archivs und Informationszentrums in Regensburg, und der Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft Jazz in Bayern (Mittelbayerische Zeitung). In ihrem Artikel zitiert Claudia Buchholt beide Seiten und berichtet, dass das Jazzinstitut, das bislang von der LAG Jazz getragen wird, die Trägerschaft wechseln und "unter der Dach des Verbands Bayerischer Sing- und Musikschulen (VBSM) schlüpfen" möchte.

Only now we learned of an ongoing controversy between the head of the Bavarian Jazz Institute, an archive and information center based in Regensburg, Germany, and the Bavarian jazz association LAG Jazz in Bayern (Mittelbayerische Zeitung). In her article, Claudia Buchholt quotes both sides and reports that the Jazz Institute which is organizationally supported by the LAG Jazz would like to change the organizational structure and instead become part of the association of Bavarian singing and music schools.
